Naia Yoga Teacher Training
What language is the course taught in?
The main language is English, and all our teachers are bilingual, speaking both English and Vietnamese fluently.
What yoga styles are covered in the training?
We focus on foundational Hatha yoga with our lead teacher Phuoc, and creative Vinyasa with Thuong (15+ years experience). The program also includes daily Yin, Restorative, chanting, breathwork, meditation, and partner yoga sessions.
Is this suitable for my yoga level?
This course is suitable for all levels. Our skilled teachers offer various modifications during classes, catering to beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. You'll learn to teach all levels, not just practice for yourself.
I'm a total beginner to yoga, can I still join?
While our course welcomes all levels, this intensive three-week program can be challenging for complete beginners learning their body in such an immersive way. We recommend starting practice at a local studio first to get the most from your training experience.
What's the learning progress throughout the three weeks?
Week 1: You'll practice a standard Hatha sequence daily while simultaneously learning to teach it from day one. We guide you on instructing safe entry, holding, and exit techniques for each pose - perfect for all levels including beginners.
Week 2: You'll teach this foundational sequence to your classmates with ongoing guidance, building confidence in leading a complete Hatha class independently.
Week 3: We introduce intermediate Vinyasa with different sequencing and flow techniques, expanding your teaching repertoire beyond static poses.
Are there exams during the course?
There is a final exam covering both teaching skills and theory. However, if you commit to attending daily lectures and practice, passing the exam will not be a problem.
How many students are in each training batch?
We maintain small groups of 8 to maximum 12 students to ensure personalized attention and quality instruction.
